Refund & Cancellation Policy​

Your trust, time, and investment matter to us. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, rescheduling, deposits, and project payments are handled by The Office Event, LLC.

General Refund Policy

The Office Event, LLC provides professional services in event management, communications, marketing, branding, and related strategy support. Because our work involves planning time, creative development, strategy, preparation, and reserved project capacity, payments are generally non-refundable once work has begun or time has been reserved.
 

Refunds may only be considered for services that have not yet been started, scheduled, prepared, accessed, or fulfilled.
 

Non-Refundable Payments

Unless otherwise stated in writing, the following payments are non-refundable:

  • Consultation fees

  • Booking fees

  • Deposits and retainers

  • Strategy sessions once scheduled or completed

  • Work already completed or in progress

  • Event planning time and coordination have already been performed

  • Marketing, branding, or communications work has already started

  • Digital products, templates, resources, or downloadable materials, once accessed

  • Rush fees, after-hours fees, or expedited service fees

  • Third-party fees, vendor payments, platform fees, processing fees, or materials purchased for a project
     

Consultations and Strategy Sessions

Consultation fees and strategy session fees are non-refundable once booked.

Clients may request to reschedule a consultation or strategy session with at least 48 hours’ notice, subject to availability.
 

Missed appointments, no-shows, or cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may result in forfeiture of the consultation fee.
 

Project Cancellations

Project cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.
 

If a client cancels a project after work has begun, the client remains responsible for payment for all work completed, time reserved, planning performed, approved expenses, vendor commitments, and any non-refundable costs incurred before cancellation.
 

If a project is canceled before work begins, any refund eligibility will depend on the project agreement, payment terms, scheduling status, and whether preparation time or project resources have already been reserved.
 

Event Cancellations

For event management services, cancellation terms may vary based on the event timeline, scope of work, vendor commitments, venue requirements, and expenses already incurred.


The client remains responsible for:

  • Event planning or coordination already completed

  • Time reserved for the event

  • Vendor, venue, rental, catering, decor, printing, or production costs

  • Rush requests or expedited planning fees

  • Any non-refundable third-party charges

  • Approved purchases or materials ordered for the event

The Office Event, LLC is not responsible for refund decisions made by third-party vendors, venues, contractors, platforms, or service providers.
 

Rescheduling Policy

Clients may request to reschedule consultations, strategy sessions, project meetings, or event-related services in writing.
 

Consultations and strategy sessions require at least 48 hours’ notice to reschedule without forfeiting the appointment fee.
 

Event-related rescheduling requests are reviewed based on availability, vendor commitments, venue requirements, project status, and the new requested date.
 

Rescheduling may result in additional fees if it requires extra planning time, revised timelines, vendor changes, rush work, or additional coordination.
 

Client Delays

Client delays may affect project timelines and delivery dates.
 

Delays may include late responses, missed deadlines, delayed approvals, incomplete materials, unpaid invoices, or failure to provide required information.
 

The Office Event, LLC is not responsible for missed deadlines, event delays, publishing delays, campaign delays, or project extensions caused by delayed client communication, late payments, or missing materials.
 

Additional fees may apply if a project must be restarted, extended, rushed, or significantly adjusted due to client delays.
 

Digital Products and Resources

Digital products, templates, downloads, guides, workbooks, or other digital resources are non-refundable once accessed, downloaded, delivered, or emailed.
 

Approved Refunds

If a refund is approved, it will be processed to the original payment method when possible.

Approved refunds are generally processed within 7–10 business days. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider, bank, or platform used.
 

Payment processing fees may be non-refundable.
 

Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Clients are encouraged to contact The Office Event, LLC directly with any billing concerns before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.
 

If a chargeback is filed for services already rendered, work completed, time reserved, or approved expenses, The Office Event, LLC reserves the right to provide documentation to the payment processor and pause or terminate current and future services.
